Disease

It's always difficult to open
Because it's so mind blowing
Yet so broken

Single file, I'm on a mission
There's no war outside our heads
So why are we losing?

Reality kicks in too late
We had it all for 3 months
Now that was great

A lesson learnt, the damage done
Now it's time to start
Blaming everyone

So, baby baby baby baby please
Once you were a princess
Now you're a disease
So, take your filthy mouth
And head back to the east
Go make your dollar bills
By giving someone treats

6 months have passed since
I heard your cry
You must be down in ashes
Ready to just die

So, now I'm thinking about you
I've been to hell and back
With what you put me through

So, baby baby baby baby please
Once you were a princess
Now you're a disease
So, take your filthy mouth
And head back to the east
Go make your dollar bills
By giving someone treats

Music and lyrics : Niel Oliver & Deon Travis Joubert
Guitars and vocals : Niel Oliver

This song surely has a story to it, like every other song, but the funny thing is, if you would ask me or Travis how we wrote this, the simple answer would be :"We don't know!". This just happened. we sat in our band room one day and it just happened. We wrote this song out of miles and miles of endless emotion about girls. Shocker...... :)

It took us about 15 minutes to write and we didn't care about how it sounds or what anyone thinks about it, we just cared about writing it! This song still needs to be performed live, seeing that jamming it to friends doesn't really count as a live performance. We'll work it into our line for next weekend's gig.

Be sure to check out the Luna Atra Band Profile to listen to this song and some others as well.

Give us your feedback and tell us what you think!! Can't wait to hear fro myou guys!
